Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue quotations and sales-related documents.
- Follow up with customers on quotations and orders.
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers for timely collections.
- Track shipments and resolve operational or documentation issues.
Skills
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Operations Support Executive to support our sales and operations team in the trading of cement, steel, and other construction materials. The role involves preparing quotations, coordinating shipments, handling documentation, supporting collections, and assisting in sourcing and business development activities. The ideal candidate must be proactive, organized, and capable of troubleshooting operational issues efficiently.
- Prepareandissuequotations,offers,andsales-relateddocuments.
- Followupwithcustomersonquotations,confirmations,andorders.
- Supportthesalesteaminday-to-daycommercialactivities.
- Followuponpayments,collections,andoutstandingreceivableswithcustomers.
- Coordinatewithinternalfinanceandoperationsteamstoensuretimelycollections.
- Maintainaccuraterecordsofpaymentstatus.
- Prepareandprovideallrequiredshippingandcommercialdocumentsforshipmentsarrivingatport,includingbutnotlimitedto:
- Invoice
- PackingList
- BillofLading
- CertificateofOrigin
- TestReports/QualityCertificates(ifapplicable)
- Coordinatewithfreightforwarders,shippinglines,portagents,andcustomers.
- Trackshipmentsandproactivelyresolveanyoperationalordocumentationissues.
- Arrangeinternalandexternalmeetings,includingsendingmeetinginvitationsandpreparingagendaswhenrequired.
- Maintainproperfollow-upandactionpointsaftermeetings.
- Conduct marketresearch to identify:
- Newsuppliersandsources
- Newproductsandopportunitiesrelatedtoconstructionmaterials
- Supportproductandsupplierdevelopmentinitiatives.
- Arrangethedispatchofsamplestocustomersorconsultants.
- Coordinatewithsuppliersandlogisticsteamsforsamplepreparationanddelivery.
- Proactivelyidentifyandresolveoperational,documentation,andcoordinationissues.
- Supporttheteaminhandlingurgentorunexpectedsituationsefficiently.
- Experienceintrading,constructionmaterials,cement,steel,orcommoditiesispreferred.
- Strongorganizationalandmultitaskingskills.
- Excellentcommunicationskills(writtenandverbal).
