Our client one of the chemical suppliers in the UAE is currently seeking an experienced IT Support Executive o join their team.
Hardware & Infrastructure Support
- Install configure and maintain laptops desktops monitors printers servers cameras access control devices and Wi‑Fi access points.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance and ensure proper functioning of all IT hardware.
- Provide first‑level support and troubleshooting for hardware‑related issues.
Microsoft 365 & Cloud Services Administration
- Manage user accounts licenses and permissions in Microsoft 365 (Exchange SharePoint Teams OneDrive).
- Provide day‑to‑day support for email and collaboration tools including Teams Outlook and SharePoint Online.
- Handle laptop setups for onboarding including imaging application installations and account configurations.
Network & Connectivity
- Monitor and support internet and internal network connectivity.
- Liaise with service providers such as Du or Etisalat for telecom and internet services including installation troubleshooting and upgrades.
IT Helpdesk & Support Operations
- Act as the first point of contact for IT‑related issues within the Dubai office.
- Log track and resolve incidents and service requests using ManageEngine ticketing system.
- Provide remote support for offsite employees when needed and elevate issues as appropriate.
Asset & Documentation Management
- Maintain up‑to‑date inventory of IT hardware and software.
- Document system configurations incidents and resolutions.
- Ensure all IT equipment is tagged and records are regularly updated.
General IT Operations
- Ensure secure disposal and data wiping of retired IT equipment.
- Maintain physical security of IT infrastructure (e.g. server room access).
- Train staff on basic IT procedures and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in IT Computer Science or related field.
- 3 years of IT support experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong hands‑on experience with hardware (laptops printers access devices etc.).
- Proficiency in Office 365 administration including Exchange Teams SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Experience using ManageEngine or similar IT service management (ITSM) tools.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (LAN/Wi‑Fi/VPN).
