A prestigious healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi seeks a skilled physician specializing in transplant medicine. The role involves managing complex transplant cases, supervising medical trainees, and engaging in innovative research. With at least 5–7 years of experience, the ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, leadership qualities, and eligibility for local licensure. This role is pivotal in advancing SKMC’s mission as a regional leader in transplant care, combining clinical excellence with compassionate service
Clinical Care:
Diagnose and manage patients undergoing kidney, liver, or multi-organ transplantation.
Provide comprehensive pre-transplant evaluations and post-transplant follow-up.
Manage immunosuppressive therapy and monitor for complications.
Collaborate with surgical teams, nephrologists, hepatologists, and other specialists.
Leadership & Supervision:
Supervise junior medical staff and fellows in transplant medicine.
Lead multidisciplinary rounds and case discussions.
Participate in departmental planning and quality improvement initiatives.
Education & Training:
Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students.
Contribute to continuing medical education (CME) activities.
Research & Development:
Engage in clinical research and contribute to publications in transplant medicine.
Support innovation in transplant protocols and patient care pathways.
Compliance & Governance:
Ensure compliance with SEHA, DOH, and international transplant regulations.
Participate in audits, morbidity and mortality reviews, and peer evaluations.
Education: MBBS or equivalent with specialty certification (e.g., FRCP, American Board, or equivalent) in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Transplant Medicine.
Experience: Minimum 5–7 years post-specialty certification, with at least 2 years in a transplant center.
Licensure: Eligible for DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) Consultant licensure.
Skills: Strong clinical acumen, leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Experience in a JCI-accredited hospital.
Track record of academic contributions or clinical research.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
