Job summary
A leading insurance company in Dubai is seeking an Accounting Representative responsible for managing credit control communications with brokers and clients on AR balances. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and strong interpersonal skills. This full-time position offers an opportunity to develop client relationships and drive debt recovery efforts.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mitigate credit risk.
- Continuous drive towards reducing debt ageing.
- Develop and maintain relationships within client organizations for collections.
- Uphold data protection and confidentiality.
- Resolve queries around payment timing.
- Ensure reconciliation of SOAs.
- Prepare SOAs and receipts when requested.
- Lead integration and system migration.

As an accounting representative you will primarily be responsible for clearing the credit control mailbox and communication with brokers/clients on AR balances sending receipts and SOA.
- Manage and mitigate credit risk.
- Continuous drive towards reducing debt ageing.
- Develop and maintain relationships within client organizations to aid collections and accuracy of receipt forecasting.
- Uphold the highest level of data protection and confidentiality towards all stakeholders.
- Resolving queries both internally and externally around expected payment timing of outstanding.
- Ensure reconciliation of SOAs on an ongoing basis.
- Preparation of SOAs and receipts when requested.
- Maintain the lead for integration and system migration.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise a demanding workload.
