Position Overview:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for harnessing data from various platforms, sales, marketing (both online/offline), and consumer channels to provide actionable insights that drive business growth and enhance the sales and optimize shopping experience. This role requires a deep understanding of those channels’ operations and the ability to transform raw data into meaningful visualizations using Microsoft Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ecommerce Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple Ecommerce sources, such as online sales platforms, Ad analytics, and campaigns, to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
2. Dashboard Development: Design and create interactive Power BI dashboards that display key performance metrics related, including sales revenue, margins, traffic & conversion rates, ASP, and other relevant KPIs.
3. Customer Behavior Analysis: Analyse customer journey data, search ranking patterns, and purchasing behaviours to understand customer preferences, segmentation, and identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and conversion.
4. Product Performance Insights: Provide insights into product performance, best-selling items, slow-moving inventory, and identify cross-selling or upselling opportunities to maximize revenue.
5. Marketing and Promotions Analytics: Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, promotions, and discounts by tracking ROI, customer acquisition, and conversion rates.
6. Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, including eCommerce platforms, 3rd party tools, and marketing automation platforms, to create a comprehensive view of the sales and marketing ecosystem.
7. Sales Forecasting: Collaborate with demand planning and inventory management teams to create sales forecasts and optimize inventory levels based on historical data and market trends.
8. Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends to provide insights that inform the strategy and keep the business unit competitive.
9. Data Governance and Security: Ensure compliance with data governance policies and implement measures to safeguard sensitive Ecommerce data.
10. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, finance, and IT, to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
11. Reporting and Presentation: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports, summarize findings, and present insights to key stakeholders and leadership.
12. Conduct & lead periodic business sessions with stakeholders and other partners to review the key insights, derive action points and track with respective action owners.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Ecommerce, Marketing, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years proven experience in data analysis and reporting using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools (Power Query).
3. Deep understanding of metrics, customer behavior, and online sales operations.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Access or SQL for data querying and manipulation (but not mandatory).
5. Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), and CRM systems.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to derive insights from complex datasets.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
8. Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modelling techniques is a plus.
9. Experience with data visualization best practices and dashboard design.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced Ecommerce environment.
11. Candidate should be a team player and have an experience with interacting with multiple stakeholders in her/his previous roles.
