We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Carpenter you will play a crucial role in various construction projects throughout the city ensuring highquality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Perform a wide range of carpentry work including framing finishing and custom woodworking
- Interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications to execute carpentry projects efficiently
- Utilize and maintain carpentry tools and equipment properly
- Collaborate with team members and other trades to coordinate work schedules and resolve issues
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices on the job site
- Conduct quality checks and inspections of completed work
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory of materials and supplies
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the construction team
- Adapt to changing project requirements and work in various weather conditions
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding project status and any challenges
Qualifications :
- 35 years of experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
- Advanced carpentry skills and proficiency in various woodworking techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications
- Extensive knowledge of carpentry tools equipment and materials
- Strong problemsolving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry preferred
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g. OSHA)
- Thorough understanding of construction industry standards building codes and regulations
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Flexibility to work on different project sites within Dubai
- Valid UAE drivers license preferred
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment
