Job description
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop detailed architectural and civil drawings, plans, and designs.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive drawings for various stages of projects, including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards governing architectural and civil construction in the GCC region.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software proficiently to create and modify drawings, incorporating changes as required throughout the design process.
- Coordinate with project teams to integrate architectural and civil drawings with other disciplines, such as structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Conduct site visits and surveys as needed to gather information and verify dimensions for drafting purposes.
- Review and analyze architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other documentation to identify potential conflicts or discrepancies.
- Provide support during the construction phase by producing as-built drawings and responding to requests for information (RFIs) from contractors.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation in accordance with company standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in architectural and civil drafting.
