Job Title

Junior Draftsman – Infrastructure Projects

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Draftsman with a background in infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in preparing design and construction drawings using AutoCAD and / or Revit, preferably with exposure to infrastructure projects such as Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D and 3D design drawings for infrastructure projects including Sewage Pump Stations, Storm Water PS, STPs, and RO plants.
• Assist in developing and managing Revit models and AutoCAD drawings under supervision.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders to support coordination and timely delivery of design documentation.
• Interpret design concepts and sketches and translate them into technical drawings.
• Maintain drawing revisions and assist in document control following QA / QC procedures.
• Support clash detection and design coordination using Revit and other BIM tools.
• Organize and maintain digital drawing records, including as-built documentation.
• Assist in preparing Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) as required.
• Conduct site visits under supervision to prepare as-built drawings.
• Support and learn from senior CAD technicians and engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years’ CAD drafting experience in infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D) and / or Revit (3D).
• Basic understanding of BIM standards and protocols.
• Good attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality control.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Basic understanding of civil or mechanical engineering principles related to infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with other design platforms such as Civil 3D, Navisworks, or MicroStation is an advantage.
• Exposure to large-scale or international infrastructure projects is a plus.
