Global Software Solutions (GSS) , on behalf of one of the largest UAE banks, is seeking an exceptional Senior Solution Architect to lead the architecture of cutting-edge digital products for wholesale banking.

About The Role

As a Senior Solution Architect , you will be pivotal in designing enterprise-grade, secure, and high-performing solutions that align with the bank's digital transformation goals. You will collaborate with business, functional, and technology teams to drive impactful solutions across wholesale banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design systems for high availability, reliability, and security, ensuring sensitive data protection and operational integrity
• Deliver scalable architecture solutions for API-based ecosystems, event-driven designs, and cloud-native microservices
• Participate in or lead the design of at least 3 projects using microservices, events, and API-based architectures
• Conduct evaluations, prototypes, and proof-of-concept testing to validate technologies and approaches before full implementation
• Develop comprehensive design patterns and cloud-native, container-based applications
• Implement advanced architectural patterns such as microservices, SAGA, pub-sub, and circuit breaker mechanisms
• Deep knowledge of API gateways, authorization protocols, and identity providers (IDP)
• Hands-on experience with CI / CD pipelines, OpenShift, and Azure Cloud Services
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools and data modeling solutions

• Deliver end-to-end architecture designs and solutions within agreed timelines
• Enhance the efficiency of architecture workflows through innovation and automation
• Build reusable blueprints and reference architectures to promote consistency and scalability across the organization
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing through workshops and peer-review sessions for teams across Group IT

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing cloud-native microservices applications
• Proven track record of delivering architecture solutions for large-scale systems in dynamic, fast-paced environments
• Expertise in Azure Cloud Services, OpenShift, and enterprise architecture tools
• Advanced understanding of modern integration patterns like pub-sub, SAGA, and API-first design
