Strategic Sales Director is the single most important pillar of MWM Commercial Strategy with responsibility of leading the global Strategic Sales organization which includes Complex Mega Project, Strategic Corporate Accounts, Marketing and Business Development. Strategic Sales Director is the global leader overseeing the key strategic growth pillar within MWM and is tasked to ensure MWM tight collaboration with global corporations in Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Chemical and other relevant sectors. The role has frequent interaction with senior leadership both within customers and within Caterpillar.
MWM Strategic Sales Director reports directly to the MWM Commercial Director.
Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions. Level: Extensive Experience.
Knowledge of the industry group’s trends, major issues, regulatory considerations and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Level: Extensive Experience.
Knowledge of the decision‑making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Level: Expert.
Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner. Level: Extensive Experience.
Knowledge of business development tools, techniques and approaches; ability to explore and develop potential areas of business growth for the organization. Level: Extensive Experience.
Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service value and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs. Level: Expert.
