Role Purpose
The Vice President – Sales (International Markets) will lead global sales operations and drive revenue growth across key regions including the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Asia‑Pacific, and the Americas. This senior leadership role requires a strategic, results‑driven professional with strong experience in B2B travel distribution, established market relationships, and a proven track record of scaling international sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the international sales team to achieve strong revenue growth across global markets.
- Take full P&L ownership of international sales and deliver quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategic market expansion plans focused on high‑potential regions and partnerships.
- Define and optimize sales processes, KPIs, and performance frameworks to ensure efficiency and accountability.
- Build and maintain relationships with major travel agencies, consolidators, and strategic accounts worldwide.
- Monitor industry trends, competition, and pricing strategies to sustain a strong competitive position.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and finance teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
- Represent the organisation at international trade fairs, networking events, and B2B exhibitions to enhance market presence.
- Recruit, mentor, and motivate regional sales leaders, fostering a culture of ownership and high performance.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior management.
- Support annual budgeting, pricing strategies, and strategic alliances to drive long‑term business growth.
Desired Profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in international B2B sales, ideally within travel, hospitality, or global distribution.
- Proven ability to manage multi‑regional sales teams and achieve large‑scale revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of B2B travel ecosystems including wholesalers, OTAs, DMCs, and aggregators.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment with frequent international travel.
- Knowledge of digital distribution, XML/API integrations, and online booking platforms is advantageous.
