Job summary
A healthcare institution in Dubai is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support daily laboratory operations. The successful candidate will assist in sample collection, preparation, and processing while adhering to hygiene and safety regulations. Responsibilities include receiving and processing samples, maintaining lab cleanliness, and assisting technicians. Qualifications
- Experience in laboratory settings or relevant educational background is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, labeling, and processing laboratory samples.
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and laboratory equipment for tests.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of lab equipment and work areas.
We are looking for a dedicated Laboratory Assistant to support the daily operations of the laboratory. The ideal candidate will assist in sample collection, preparation, and processing, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
- Assist in receiving, labeling, and processing laboratory samples.
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and laboratory equipment for tests.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of lab equipment and work areas.
- Record and organize laboratory data and test results accurately.
- Ensure proper storage and disposal of biological samples and hazardous materials.
- Assist laboratory technicians and technologists in performing tests.
- Follow safety and infection control protocols.
- Monitor inventory of laboratory supplies and request restocking when needed.
