Job description

This role involves forklift operation order picking and packing inventory control and shipping/receiving. Ideal candidates will have experience in warehouse jobs a valid forklift license and a strong work ethic.

Essential Job Functions:

• Operate forklifts MHE counterbalance and reach trucks certification or willingness to become certified required.
• Perform receiving put-away picking packing loading and unloading of goods.
• Maintain accurate records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS - Footprint).
• Organize inbound and outbound freight in designated areas.
• Complete shipping/receiving paperwork with precision and timeliness.
• Communicate shipment issues quickly to the account coordinator.
• Keep the warehouse clean organized and compliant with safety standards.
• Support teammates and contribute to smooth efficient operations.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures.
• Take on other tasks as required flexibility is part of the job.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand or sit for long periods of time.
• Reach with hands and arms and stoop kneel crouch and frequently required to climb or balance.
• Regularly life and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand.
• Ability to drive a forklift and become certified by Crane Worldwide.

Other skills and abilities:

• Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read comprehend and complete basic checklists forms or other related documents.
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
• Balances individual responsibilities.
• Consistently at work and on time.

Education and Experience:

• 2 years related experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year industry experience preferred.
