Job summary

A leading insurance firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Underwriting & Pricing Analyst to join their Life & Health team. In this role, you will provide high-quality underwriting and pricing support for Group Employee Benefits and individual health portfolios, collaborating with clients across the Middle East & Africa. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in underwriting, preferably in health insurance, and a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in life & health underwriting, ideally with GEB focus.
  • Actuarial progress is a strong plus.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality underwriting and pricing support for health reinsurance.
  • Evaluate and structure technical solutions aligned with underwriting guidelines.
  • Support clients with risk analysis, product design, and quotations.

You’ll support regional clients with high-quality underwriting, risk evaluation, and pricing for Group Employee Benefits (GEB) and individual health portfolios

Job Profile:

  • Deliver high-quality underwriting and pricing support for group and individual health reinsurance
  • Evaluate and structure technical solutions aligned with corporate underwriting guidelines
  • Support key clients across the Middle East & Africa region with risk analysis, product design, and quotations
  • Use data-driven insight to craft competitive, compliant, and profitable proposals
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to optimize underwriting tools and quoting platforms
  • Stay on top of market trends, regulations, and portfolio performance

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably Actuarial Science); actuarial progress a strong plus
  • 5+ years’ experience in life & health underwriting, ideally with GEB focus
  • Experience with actuarial pricing tools, Excel/VBA, Power Tools; SQL/Access a bonus
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage)
