Job description

Senior Product Manager - L'Oreal Professionnel - Professional Products Division - Dubai, UAE

Hello, we're L'Oréal. We're not just building brands; we're shaping how the world experiences beauty (and it takes a lot of cool jobs to do it). Intrigued? Keep reading-this might be the opportunity you've been searching for.

A Day in the Life

As a Senior Brand Manager for Coloration at L'Oréal Professionnel, you will report directly to the Marketing Manager and be at the forefront of shaping the future of professional hair color. Coloration represents a significant 50% of L'Oréal Professionnel's overall Weight of Business, and we are proud to be the #1 color brand in both UAE and KSA. In this pivotal role, your mission will be to not only maintain this leadership position but also to actively drive further market share gains through strategic planning, innovative execution, and collaborating closely with brand stakeholders, the Zone team, commercial, and education teams.

Here's what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Brand Strategy & Management: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and action plans to solidify L'Oréal Professionnel's leadership in the highly competitive coloration segment.
  • Consumer & Salon Business Insights: Dive deep into market trends, consumer behavior, and, critically, understand the unique business requirements and challenges of our salon partners. Leverage these insights to identify untapped opportunities for innovation and growth within the coloration category.
  • Product Launch & Market Animation: Lead new coloration product launches, ensuring optimal sizing and market readiness. You will also animate the market with engaging, cycle-based campaigns that resonate with both professionals and consumers.
  • Education & Artistic Collaboration: Collaborate with the Education Manager to create market-relevant looks and plan successful education roadshows.
  • POSM Management: Take charge of the end-to-end management of POSM for coloration, ensuring that our salon partners receive timely and effective merchandising tools to drive visibility and sales.
  • Attend collab meetings and ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Manage Budget: Effectively manage marketing budgets.
  • Organize Incentive Trips: Plan and execute the coloration end-year incentive trip.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Synergy: Actively participate in all relevant collaboration meetings to align strategies, share insights, and ensure seamless execution across all departments.

We Are Looking For

You're a great match if you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English & Arabic.
  • Expertise in Brand Management and Marketing Strategy.
  • Strong skills in Consumer Insights and Project Management.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A natural collaborator with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adept at influencing stakeholders and fostering strong partnerships, particularly with education, commercial and supply chain teams.
  • A growth mindset, with a passion for innovation and collaboration.
  • Strong negotiation skills, data-oriented, analytical and sales budget planning skills

What's In It For You

  • A place for you to leave your comfort zone and grow beyond your potential (here, you'll be encouraged to try new things and take risks!).
  • Real responsibility from day 1-there's no sitting on the sidelines at L'Oréal.
  • An environment where people of every ethnicity, social background, age, religion, gender, and sexual orientation-as well as people with disabilities-are accepted, can speak up, will thrive, and are celebrated!
