KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Generic Accountability:

• Supporting the Business in developing and implementing strategies to grow the Islamic corporate and investment banking division including identifying new business opportunities and expanding the divisions market share.
• Overseeing the execution of financial transactions that comply with Islamic principles including sharia compliant financing investment and risk management techniques.
• Managing the financial performance of the division including targets monitoring progress and taking corrective action as needed.
• Leading and managing a team of professionals jointly with department Head including setting performance goals providing mentorship and support in evaluating employee performance.

Job Specific Accountabilities:

• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including clients regulators and other financial institutions.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations including those related to Islamic Finance.
• Joint responsibility in achieving the business financial targets.
