Staff Nurse - PICU vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE

Staff Nurse - PICU. Our client, a leading Recovery Medical facility, is seeking a Team Nurse to join their Long-term Care system in Abu Dhabi. The role is responsible for delivering nursing care in collaboration with the family and in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Guarantee the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) in collaboration with the family and in accordance with policy and procedures.
  • Exercise professional judgment, assuming responsibility for treatment outcomes and ongoing professional proficiency.
  • Identify the boundaries of scope of practice and own capabilities.
  • Work with an interdisciplinary team to provide individualized care from initial contact through the episode of treatment, including rehabilitation goals.
  • Identify significant changes or deterioration in patient conditions and initiate appropriate actions within the scope of practice, escalating concerns promptly and appropriately.
  • Take action to safeguard vulnerable children or adults from harm, neglect, or abuse, and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Show understanding of resource use and management within an affordable framework.
  • Work closely with families to ensure they are involved in all aspects of care when appropriate.
Qualifications
  • At least 2–3 years in a large hospital with relevant experience with patients with diagnoses seen in critical care or rehabilitation centers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • HAAD/DOH license (or equivalent).
  • Solid direct experience with pediatric populations.
  • Ready to work two days weekly (4 shifts per week).
