Job summary

A leading oil and gas company is seeking a supervisor for HETL Distribution operations in Dubai. The role involves overseeing fuel delivery and depot operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating activities in a dynamic environment. Candidates should hold a technical qualification in Engineering or Logistics with at least 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills. A valid UAE driving license is preferable.

Qualifications

Job Purpose

The purpose of the position is to supervise and coordinate HETL Distribution operations and depot activities in their respective shift. Organize activities and duties of subordinates in an efficient, effective and safe manner that is consistent with HETL Distribution and partner’s operating procedures and safety standards.

Principal Accountabilities

• Fuel Delivery and depot operations:
• The job holder is responsible to supervise all the bulk fuel delivery operations during their shift and ensure the delivery schedule is planned for the start of the oncoming shift. They are the direct point of contact for all day-to-day operations.
• After normal office hours, including weekends and national holidays, they are responsible to supervise all depot activities including maintenance, security, and operations in a rotating 3 shift pattern per day.
• Responsible for ensuring all bulk fuel delivery orders are executed in an efficient and safe manner to the following customer segments:
• Retail (+180 Sites)
• ECIP (+400 Customer Locations)
• EBIL (Bunkering operations across the UAE)
• Aviation (Al Maktoum (DWC), Minhad and Fujairah airports)

Additional Principal Accountabilities

• Responsible for the quality and safety compliance, including
• Responsible for implementing HSE procedures without deviation.
• Responsible for ensuring the implementation of all standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Reporting Quality and/or Safety incidents and supporting in the investigation process.
• Responsible for developing procedures and work instruction for non-standard operations.
• Activates Emergency Response Plan (ERP) in case of major emergencies, such as vehicle rollover, fuel spillages, fire etc, in coordination with HETL Distribution management team.

Experience

• Technical Qualification/Diploma in Engineering or Logistics with a minimum of 5 years of relevant operational experience in Oil & Gas industry
• Capability to carry out distribution operation as specified above
