Job description

Job Purpose:

Own the end-to-end vehicle Quality Control process from receiving the vehicles to pre-delivery inspection (PDI), incident management, fleet maintenance, and vendor oversight, ensuring every Milele vehicle meets quality specifications, safety standards, and brand expectations before handover to customers or internal stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare variant & variant list packs for every inbound shipment.
  2. Conduct QC inspections on arrival, assessing damages, accidents, or missing parts; prepare incident reports and circulate them to management, procurement, finance, warehouse, logistics, and vehicle procurement within 24 hours.
  3. Upload GRN photos, specification checklists, PDI/GDN photos, and QC reports to NS SharePoint and Central Hub.
  4. Ensure real-time accuracy of receiving changes, WO/VE follow-ups, and PDI status dashboards.
  5. Derive PDI lists from WOs; schedule, perform, and document PDI for every vehicle before delivery.
  6. Run monthly and random QC checks on the company fleet; advise Warehouse on repair needs, battery health, and serviceability.
  7. Support Parts Procurement with technical input and onsite vendor visits, reporting work-in-progress status to Warehouse.
  8. Develop critical handling guidelines for the Warehouse to minimize in-stock damage.
  9. Train cleaners & drivers on safe battery terminal removal and vehicle handling best practices.
  10. Lead monthly showroom stock audits and escalate preventive actions.

Skills required:

  • 13 years hands-on QC/Inspection experience within an automotive import dealership or fleet management environment.
  • Proficient with ERP/warehouse systems, ideally NetSuite and SAP, and MS Office; SharePoint familiarity preferred.
