DescriptionRole: Senior Operational Risk Analyst

Role Purpose:This is a risk management role responsible for developing a center of excellence for Operational Risk Management (ORM). The role involves working with ORM champions to implement the ORM Framework and promote a culture of strong controls. The ideal candidate should be proactive, confident, and experienced in Risk and banking activities, with excellent communication skills to build relationships across the business. Main responsibilities include:
- Monitoring the execution and implementation of the Operational & Fraud Risk Framework and Governance across ADIB Group, ensuring alignment with the enterprise-wide Risk Management strategy, including risk profile and appetite, to support informed decision-making.
- Assessing and ensuring the adequacy of the control environment within ADIB Departments and recommending management actions to support business objectives.
Key Accountabilities:- Program Management: Support ORM program implementation, including tools like RCSA, KRIs, and Issues & Actions Management; monitor ORM policies and tools within ADIB.
- Risk Identification, Assessment, and Measurement: Assist businesses in identifying key operational and fraud risks; facilitate risk assessments; coordinate evaluations of product risks, processes, outsourcing, significant events, and security risks.
- Risk and Control Governance: Support control assessments and recommend actions; analyze control environment data; prepare operational risk reports.
- Key Indicators Management: Help Business Units identify and score Key Indicators; ensure proper escalation of breaches.
- Operational Risk Management Center of Expertise: Provide guidance on operational risk tools and systems; support policy reviews.
- Governance: Assist in preparing presentations for management and board; document actions and decisions; manage escalations and maintain committee charters; perform self-assessment on ORM committees.
