Job Overview

Reporting to Chief Communications Officer Geographical Location UAE The Manager / Senior Manager – Content Writing will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s voice and external narrative. By crafting impactful speeches, opinion pieces, and strategic communication materials, the role will enhance leadership visibility, strengthen the organization’s credibility, and influence stakeholder perception.

Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Content Development
  • Draft, edit, and refine a range of high-impact copies for corporate website, brochures, AV texts, speeches, opinion pieces, white paper extracts, corporate background notes, and media statements.
  • Create narratives that reflect organizational perspectives on key geopolitical, economic, and industry issues.
  • Develop speaking points, Q&A responses, and talking notes for leadership participation in panels, media interviews, and conferences.
  • Write, review, and adapt content for diverse platforms, ensuring tone, structure, and clarity align with brand and leadership positioning.
  • Support crisis communication through well-crafted holding statements, reactive responses, and stakeholder messaging.
Media & Thought Leadership Engagement
  • Draft press releases, media advisories, and official statements that uphold organizational messaging standards.
  • Build detailed executive profiles, spokesperson briefs, and contextual background notes for external engagements.
  • Attend briefings and external meetings to capture key insights and translate them into coherent, publication-ready content.
  • Collaborate with PR agencies, corporate communication teams, and media partners to ensure consistency and accuracy across all external communication touchpoints.
Research, Analysis & Insight Generation
  • Conduct in-depth research to support development of content grounded in data and evidence.
  • Analyse industry reports, policy papers, and market trends to prepare insightful summaries and discussion documents.
  • Turn complex information into clear, easy-to-understand messages for speeches, reports, and updates.
  • Stay abreast of evolving geopolitical and economic developments to ensure content relevance and contextual depth.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Editorial Excellence
  • Partner with senior leadership and communications teams to understand objectives and deliver content that aligns with strategic priorities.
  • Manage multiple projects with sensitivity to tone, deadlines, and confidentiality.
  • Uphold editorial rigor and ensure all written outputs meet the highest standards of clarity, accuracy, and style consistency.

  • Promote judicious use of natural resources.
  • Adhere to the organization’s environment, health, and safety policies, objectives, and guidelines.
Education

Master’s degree in journalism, Mass Communication, International Relations, Economics, or a related discipline.

Experience
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in professional writing, editorial, or corporate communication roles.
  • Prior experience as a business journalist or within a PR / communications agency strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in drafting speeches, thought leadership content, media materials, and analytical reports.
  • Proven ability to translate complex issues into compelling, reader-friendly content for senior audiences.
