Job description

You will be working closely with the legal functions worldwide, collaborating with subject-matter experts on local law issues and advising other stakeholders. The ideal candidate must possess strong legal knowledge across a broad range of issues related to Apple's products and services. Essential skills include excellent written and verbal communication, strong business acumen, and the ability to navigate complex tasks with uncertainties while working with multiple stakeholders.

You will lead your work with a focus on enabling the business while managing legal risks. The candidate must be highly motivated, proactive, collaborative, and capable of continuous learning to develop a deep understanding of issues impacting Apple's business. Adaptability in a dynamic environment and the ability to tailor communication styles to different audiences are crucial. Staying updated on the latest legal developments is expected.

Engagement with regulators and policymakers in the Gulf Cooperation Council to support and advocate for Apple's interests may be required. Soft skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and networking are key to success. Travel will be essential.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Law or equivalent law degree.
• Bar admission in at least one jurisdiction.
• Eight or more years of experience at an international law firm or in-house at a multinational company.
• Deep expertise and understanding of laws and regulations in the Gulf Cooperation Council.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in emerging markets.
• Experience working with government agencies, regulators, and other stakeholders in the region.
• Proven ability to advise on complex legal and regulatory issues.
• Ability to exercise good judgment on time-sensitive issues.
• Keen interest in regional developments and public policy issues.
