Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our engineering department you will be responsible for leading and managing complex geotechnical projects providing technical expertise and ensuring the successful delivery of highquality solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Senior role in our regional geotech team
  • Support Lead Geotech engineer in developing staff capabilities and growing the business
  • Lead delivery of Geotech projects
  • Lead and oversee geotechnical investigations analysis and design for largescale infrastructure projects
  • Develop and review geotechnical reports calculations and recommendations
  • Manage project teams and coordinate with multidisciplinary groups including clients and contractors
  • Conduct site visits and field inspections to assess ground conditions and monitor construction activities
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Ensure compliance with local and international geotechnical standards and codes
  • Develop and implement innovative geotechnical solutions to complex engineering challenges
  • Contribute to business development efforts and proposal preparation
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in geotechnical engineering
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 810 years of experience in geotechnical engineering with a focus on largescale infrastructure projects
  • Advanced knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS GeoStudio and Rocscience
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent project management abilities and experience leading project teams
  • Effective communication and report writing skills
  • Expertise in soil mechanics foundation engineering slope stability analysis earthquake engineering and ground improvement techniques
  • Familiarity with local and international geotechnical standards and codes
  • Experience working in the Middle East region is preferred
  • Membership in relevant professional organizations (e.g. American Society of Civil Engineers) is desirable
