Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead civil and structural activities for the Thermal PP-CCGT plant. The ideal candidate will have 15 years of civil experience in power or heavy industrial projects, along with strong knowledge of foundations, earthworks, concrete, and steel structures. This contract position is site-based and does not allow for remote work.

Qualifications

• 15 years civil experience on power or heavy industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of foundations, earthworks, concrete, and steel structures.
• Familiar with international codes and QA/QC practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead all civil and structural activities for the Thermal PP-CCGT plant.
• Review and comment civil design drawings and calculations.
• Supervise foundations, buildings, and infrastructure works on site.
• Approve ITPs, method statements, and construction procedures.
• Coordinate civil interfaces with mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines.
