Job Purpose

Join our Group Security team, where you will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security across the Emirates Group. Our diverse security units include Security Training, Group Security Command Center, Airport Security Unit, Crime Prevention & Investigation Unit, Threat & Risk Assessment Unit, Aviation Security Compliance, Assurance & Regulation, and Business Support Unit—all working together to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies.

Security Affairs Controller – Emiratisation

As a Security Affairs Controller – Emiratisation, you will support and execute security review processes under the supervision of the Security Affairs Manager. This role contributes to maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, reducing internal risks, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of security assessment activities.

In this role you will:
  • Manage the coordination of internal and external processes, ensuring timely handling of all related requests.
  • Ensure all processes are conducted in full compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and data protection requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and current records of status details, including access levels, validity periods, and renewal timelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (e.g., HR, Legal, IT), external government and regulatory bodies to facilitate approvals and respond to official inquiries or audits.
  • Support internal audits and routine process evaluations by promoting operational consistency, identifying areas for improvement, and contributing to process enhancements.
  • Monitor and report performance metrics related to process completion timelines, compliance adherence, and team productivity, ensuring alignment with established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
  • Completed Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
  • Bring a minimum of 8 years’ experience in security.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the airline industry, including exposure to operational, commercial, or human resources environments.
  • Show a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to manage sensitive information carefully and identify discrepancies or potential risks.
  • Possess strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and clearly with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and applicants.
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge of data privacy laws and compliance requirements, ensuring all processes adhere to regulatory and organisational standards.
