Role Overview

You will be teaching Psychology within the UK curriculum with ages 14 to 19.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, tailored classes incorporating innovative teaching methods that foster intellectual curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Plan and execute creative, inclusive lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum, effectively addressing the diverse needs of all learners through differentiated instruction.
  • Establish a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, collaboration, and a genuine passion for learning.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community to ensure each learner's holistic development and academic success.

Additional Duties

  • Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
  • Contribute to curriculum development initiatives and share best practices with colleagues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Education OR Bachelor's degree in Psychology / related teaching subject, plus PGCE.
  • UK QTS or appropriate Teaching License.
  • Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a classroom setting.
  • Proven ability to design and implement engaging lessons.
  • Expertise in adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
  • Demonstrated success in creating an inclusive classroom environment.
