The Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients, building relationships, and promoting Alterna Finance’s Earned Wage Access (EWA) and SME financing solutions. Working closely with the business development and marketing teams, the Sales Executive plays a key role in expanding Alterna Finance’s market presence and client base.
Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and acquire new corporate clients, SMEs, and HR/payroll partners for Alterna Finance’s solutions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demos, and proposal meetings with prospective clients.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and digital outreach.
- Track and manage sales pipelines, ensuring timely follow-ups and deal closures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including HR directors, finance managers, and business owners.
- Provide consultative sales solutions tailored to client financial needs and pain points.
- Ensure a seamless client onboarding experience, working closely with the customer success team.
- Act as a trusted advisor, addressing customer inquiries and offering customized financial solutions.
- Research and analyse industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer behaviours to identify sales opportunities.
- Leverage CRM tools to track leads, manage accounts, and optimize sales processes.
- Attend industry events, fintech forums, and networking sessions to generate business leads.
- Develop targeted sales campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Prepare and negotiate sales contracts, partnership agreements, and pricing structures.
- Handle objections and overcome client concerns with persuasive sales techniques.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate policies when structuring deals.
- Work closely with the business development, marketing, and product teams to refine sales strategies.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and pipeline updates to management.
- Offer feedback on customer preferences and pain points to enhance product development and service offerings.
- Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making.
- Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, corporate sales, fintech sales, or financial services sales.
- Proven track record in closing deals, exceeding sales targets, and building strong client relationships.
- Experience in SME financing, payroll-linked financial solutions, or embedded finance sales is a plus.
- Background in consultative selling, business development, and strategic account management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
