Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years experience for QS UAE Authority approvals MRICS.
• Prior experience in construction supervision or operation and maintenance of major roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects.

• Handle post-contract functions including payments and contractual correspondence.
• Provide advice on contractual matters and ensure requirements are met.
• Prepare financial statements for monthly reporting.

Responsibilities

• Handle post-contract functions including interim and final payments, variations, cash flows, claims and contractual correspondence.
• Conversant with CESSM.
• Provide advice on contractual matters and ensure all requirements are met.
• Advise on contractors resource allocation and audit contractor payments.
• Ensure timely and complete submission of valuations.
• Record and check measurements of work completed.
• Prepare variations and day-works.
• Monitor and update the final cost estimate for the contract.
• Maintain and track expenditure records.
• Review, negotiate and prepare claim settlements.
• Coordinate and monitor the activities of the team.
• Prepare financial statements for monthly reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years experience for QS
• Minimum of 15 years experience for QS UAE Authority approvals MRICS
• Prior experience in construction supervision or operation and maintenance of major roads, bridges and infrastructure projects
• Relevant work experience in quantity surveying or construction with expertise in cost estimating and contract administration
• Strong analytical numerical and communication skills; proficiency in construction software
• Familiarity with construction processes drawings specifications and contract regulations
