Role Overview

The purpose of an IT Project Manager is to plan, execute, and deliver IT projects on time, within scope, and budget while ensuring alignment with business goals. They act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT service providers, managing project resources, risks, and communication. The role involves ensuring project methodologies and governance frameworks are adhered to and driving successful outcomes through effective stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project planning efforts, including scope definition, timeline, resource planning, and budgeting.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and deliverables using project management tools and methodologies.
  • Track project progress, manage changes to project scope, and address any deviations from the plan.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
  • Identify, manage, and escalat project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary.
  • Analytical mindset to resolve challenges efficiently and maintain project momentum.
  • Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all project phases, including Project plans, RAID logs, CRs, etc.
  • Report regularly on project status, risks, issues, and key milestones to PMO leadership and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, ensuring they meet the project’s standards and timelines.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications in PMP and either PMI-ACP or CSM
  • Proficient in advanced Microsoft tools and technologies for system management and monitoring.
  • 5-10 years of hands‑on experience in a similar role, focusing on managing IT projects.
  • Extensive experience with managing projects covering IT infrastructure, Software development and Business Application
  • Demonstrated ability in handling complex projects.
  • Experience in banking industry and fintech (Banks, insurance, asset management, Investment firms) is an added value.
  • Excellent in time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Team player who participates actively in all IT department and company activities.
