Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in pipe fabrication or construction.

• Familiar with non-destructive examination and welding procedures.

Epic Piping has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to be an integral part of our Engineering Department team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Manage multiple projects.
• Thorough understanding of client project scope and specifications.
• Provide a team of drafters, checks and other with all information necessary to process pipe spool fabrication drawings for multiple fabrication facilities.
• Communicate and resolve with client any issues pertaining to questions / conflicts regarding scope, specifications, and client drawings.
• Thorough understanding of shop methods using the fabrication of pipe spools.
• Familiar with and utilize department standards, procedures, and guidelines.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Education : Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience : 5 Years of Experience in Pipe fabrication or Construction
• Computer Skills : AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel, and Word. JDE is preferred.
• Certification / Licenses : None specifically required
• Other Requirements : Familiarity with codes and standards of ASTM, ASME, and PFI. Familiarity with various metallurgies. Understanding of non-destructive examination methods, heat treatments, paint, and welding procedures.
