Our client, a leading company in the real estate and construction sector, is seeking a Project Coordinator to support their PMO in managing project timelines, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and reports.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal departments to track deliverables.
- Support in managing project documentation such as RFPs, contracts, drawings, and approvals.
- Monitor project timelines and escalate delays or risks to the PMO.
- Implement and maintain PMO standards, tools, and templates.
- Maintain project dashboards and progress trackers.
- Ensure compliance with project governance frameworks.
- Prepare project status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings, including minutes and action tracking.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Assist in tracking project budgets and expenditures.
- Maintain resource allocation sheets and coordinate logistics with HR or procurement teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Business Administration.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or PMO certifications are an advantage.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role within the real estate or construction industry.
- Prior experience supporting a PMO function.
- UAE/Gulf region experience is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, Excel, and other PM tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of UAE real estate regulations and permitting processes.
