Job description

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong cybersecurity domain knowledge to own and drive the delivery of a portfolio of AI‑enabled security products. These products span security analytics, threat intelligence, and operational security platforms, designed for enterprise customers with complex environments and high assurance requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for translating strategic product direction into well‑defined, prioritised delivery outcomes. You will work closely with engineering, data science, design, and commercial stakeholders to ensure that products are built with a deep understanding of the security problem space, modern technology constraints, and real customer needs. This role suits someone who is comfortable operating across AI, data‑driven security platforms, and enterprise software, and who can confidently balance technical depth with strong product execution.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritisation aligned to product strategy and customer value.
• Translate cybersecurity and AI‑driven requirements from the Product Manager into structured user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner closely with Product management, engineering and data teams to support sprint planning, refinement, and delivery.
• Contribute to product roadmap planning across AI‑based detection, threat intelligence, analytics, and security platform capabilities.
• Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to validate requirements and gather continuous feedback.
• Ensure delivered functionality meets expectations for scalability, performance, security, and usability.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and QA to ensure that features meet specifications and quality standards.
• Support go‑to‑market activities by contributing to feature definition, positioning, and customer demonstrations where required.
• Act as a key interface between technical teams and the wider business, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Work closely with Product manager on post go‑live performance reviews to ensure accelerated resolution of issues, and feedback into design teams.

Essential Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager working on cybersecurity or security‑adjacent technology products.
• Experience in agile/scrum environments with engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, including threat intelligence and intelligence‑led security, security analytics and data‑driven detection, cloud and platform security concepts, AI and machine learning applications within security products.
• Experience working with engineering teams delivering complex, data‑intensive or platform‑based products.
• Ability to translate high‑level security problems into well‑defined, deliverable user stories and acceptance criteria for technical features.
• Strong communication skills and exceptional organization skills.
• Customer focused with a mindset to translate customer pain points into product requirements.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience building or scaling AI‑enabled products.
• Familiarity with real‑time or near‑real‑time data processing pipelines.
• Exposure to enterprise security buyers and users across regulated industries.
