Overview
We Ideal International Power Tools is seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to oversee sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management operations. This role is crucial to ensuring the seamless supply of quality materials and goods while optimizing costs and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
You will play a key role in identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing stock levels, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Identify and evaluate suppliers for power tools, accessories, and components through market research
- Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations to ensure product quality and compliance
Negotiation & Contract Management
- Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements
- Draft, manage, and ensure compliance with supplier contracts and agreements
Purchasing & Order Processing
- Raise purchase orders in line with procurement plans and inventory needs
- Track orders to ensure accurate and on-time delivery of goods and services
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure optimal stock availability
Cost Control & Optimization
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through bulk buying, alternate sourcing, and efficient logistics
- Monitor procurement expenses and maintain budgets
Supplier Relationship Management
- Foster strong, long-term relationships with domestic and international suppliers
- Resolve supplier-related issues including delays, shortages, and quality concerns promptly
Regulatory & Policy Compliance
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and relevant laws/regulations
- Maintain proper documentation for audits, approvals, and order traceability
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics, vendor performance, and cost analysis
- Recommend process improvements based on data insights and procurement trends
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- Experience in JAFZA shipping and logistics is highly desirable
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in power tools, hand tools, machinery, or industrial equipment
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems (TALLY prime, Zoho Books)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Sound knowledge of inventory control, import/export documentation, and logistics is a plus
