Job summary

A leading engineering company in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Piping Designer to support the development of 2D and 3D piping designs for oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 5-10 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include preparing piping layouts, utilizing advanced modeling tools, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards. Knowledge of piping codes and strong communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a Piping Designer, preferably in oil & gas or petrochemical sectors.
• Strong hands-on experience in SP3D, PDMS, E3D, or AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, piping specifications, and vendor drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare piping general arrangement (GA) drawings and piping isometrics.
• Utilize 3D modeling tools for piping design work.
• Ensure proper pipe routing for constructability, operability, accessibility, and safety.
