Job summary

A leading company in the region is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate processing of compensation for employees and manage payroll processes. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in payroll and benefits, preferably in the entertainment industry, along with a relevant bachelor's degree. Strong organizational skills, compliance knowledge, and proficiency in Oracle Fusion are essential. This role involves collaborating on compensation strategies and administering annual bonuses, ensuring timely payroll management.

  • 5+ years’ experience of Payroll and compensation and benefits.
  • Experience in the entertainment/events industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HC policies and practices, and of labor laws and regulations.

Payroll Specialist

Overview:

  • To ensure accurate and timely processing of compensation for Ethara employees and to effectively manage and administer an organization's payroll processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Planning: Collaborate with the Human Capital Director to shape HC Policy and compensation strategy, evaluate and suggest improvements to compensation policies, and assist in budgeting using Ethara compensation PayScale.
  • Payroll: Manage payroll records, ensure compliance with Ethara HC policies and regulations, and provide guidance on compensation and benefits.
  • Reward: Administer annual bonuses according to leadership instructions and manage the processing of increment and promotion proposals.
  • System: Maintain accurate employee records in Oracle Fusion for payroll purposes and ensure the HC Module reflects up-to-date personal information in compliance with legal requirements and Ethara policies.

Job Specifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience of Payroll and compensation and benefits.
  • Experience in the entertainment/events industry preferred.
  • Bachelor degree in relevant field e.g. Accounting, Finance etc.
  • Strong knowledge of HC policies and practices, and of labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High numerical aptitude.
