Job description

A fast-growing logistics warehousing and fulfillment 3PL company specializing in Ecommerce (B2C & B2B) solutions. Over the past five years, they have helped brands across the GCC efficiently manage inventory, fulfill orders, and ensure seamless last-mile delivery. Their expertise spans direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands, online marketplaces, and corporate B2B supply chains, making them a key player in the ecommerce logistics ecosystem. As they continue to scale, they are looking for an Operations Manager / Head of Operations to lead and optimize their fulfillment, warehousing, and last-mile logistics operations, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and top-tier service delivery. This role offers a clear pathway to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) position, providing exceptional growth opportunities for the right candidate.

As the Operations Manager / Head of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing warehouse, fulfillment, and logistics operations. Your leadership will ensure operational excellence, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction while supporting the rapid expansion of our ecommerce and B2B fulfillment services.

This role requires strong strategic thinking, leadership, and process optimization skills, with the ability to scale operations in a fast-moving logistics environment. You will work closely with warehouse teams, logistics providers, customer service, and the technology team to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute operations strategies to support growth in ecommerce fulfillment and B2B logistics.
  2. Drive efficiency, automation, and scalability across warehouse, fulfillment, and last-mile operations.
  3. Collaborate with the commercial team to align operational capabilities with client needs.
  4. Lead cost optimization, process improvement, and service quality enhancement initiatives.
  5. Oversee the full fulfillment cycle, from inventory management to order dispatch.
  6. Ensure stock accuracy, storage optimization, and efficient warehouse organization.
  7. Implement SOPs to maintain high accuracy, speed, and compliance in fulfillment.
  8. Manage returns and reverse logistics to minimize costs and improve customer satisfaction.
  9. Coordinate with 3PL partners and last-mile carriers to enhance delivery performance and reduce costs.
  10. Ensure compliance with customs and import/export regulations where applicable.
  11. Identify areas for process improvement and automation, working with the tech team to enhance WMS and fulfillment systems.
  12. Define and track KPIs to measure operational efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
  13. Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing operations team with effective shift and resource planning.
  14. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  15. Collaborate with customer service to resolve issues and enhance the client experience.
  16. Ensure alignment between sales, fulfillment, and logistics teams.
  17. Maintain strong relationships with vendors, 3PL partners, and logistics providers.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in operations, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management, preferably in ecommerce fulfillment or 3PL.
  • Proven track record of scaling operations and leading high-volume fulfillment and logistics teams.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse automation, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Expertise in last-mile logistics, 3PL management, and supply chain optimization.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP, and fulfillment automation tools.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
