Position Summary

GluCare is seeking a skilled and reliable MEP Technician professional to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our clinics and facilities. The ideal candidate will handle general maintenance, repairs, and preventive upkeep to provide a safe and comfortable environment for staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. HVAC Systems Maintenance & Repair
    • Perform routine checks, PPM and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems including AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV units, split units, and package units.
    • Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
    • Clean and replace air filters, coils, ducts, belts, and other components.
    • Check refrigerant levels, detect leaks, and recharge gas as required.
    • Replacement of compressors and other AC components such as condenser fan motors, Blower motors, Expansion Valves etc.
  2. Mechanical Systems Support
    • Perform routine checks, PPM and corrective maintenance on Mechanical Assets.
    • Maintain and repair the Transfer and booster pumps, motors, plumbing fixtures, valves, and pipework.
    • Assist in routine inspections of mechanical rooms and equipment.
    • Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
  3. Electrical Systems Support
    • Perform routine checks, PPM and corrective maintenance on Electrical assets including MDB, SMDB, DB, Capacitor bank, UPS systems etc.
    • Perform Electrical troubleshooting related to HVAC and MEP equipment.
    • Check control panels, wiring, relays, contactors, and sensors.
    • Proven experience in Star, Delta starter and the wiring, DOL Starter and the wiring. Replace faulty electrical components and ensure safe electrical practices.
  4. Plumbing, Drainage & Civil works
    • Inspect and maintain the water heaters, drainage systems, water supply lines, and sanitary fixtures.
    • Resolve blockages, leaks, and pump failures.
    • Maintain condensate drain lines for HVAC equipment.
    • Perform general maintenance and repairs, carpentry, painting, and equipment upkeep.
    • Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
    • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of repair supplies.
    • Assist with setting up rooms, furniture, or equipment for special events or clinic needs.
  5. Preventive Maintenance Activities
    • Carry out scheduled PPM tasks for HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
    • Record maintenance activities and update checklists and log sheets.
    • Report equipment performance issues and recommend improvements.
  6. Facility Inspection & Troubleshooting
    • Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify MEP and HVAC faults.
    • Troubleshoot alarms, equipment failures, and performance issues.
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards and health regulations.
    • Coordinate with external contractors when specialized maintenance or repairs are required.
  7. Installation & Project Support
    • Assist in installation or relocation of HVAC and MEP equipment.
    • Support contractors and ensure work is completed to required standards.
    • Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  8. Safety & Compliance
    • Follow all safety standards, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and PPE requirements.
    • Ensure systems comply with relevant codes and regulations.
    • Report near miss events, incidents, hazards and support corrective actions.
  9. Documentation & Communication
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and equipment condition.
    • Coordinate with supervisors, managers, and contractors.
    • Provide updates and recommendations for system performance improvements.

  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications preferred.
