Job description

Overview

Skilled MEP Foreman to join our team in UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 15 years of experience in MEP installations and maintenance.

• Install maintain and repair MEP systems and equipment.
• Deep electrical system power generation maintenance and repair knowledge
• Perform routine maintenance on MEP systems.
• Review MEP contractor shop drawings prior to submittal for service coordination and coordination with other construction elements
• Advise on any impact on services and raise queries to MEP Engineer
• Collaborate with team members.
• Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting and other mechanical & electrical systems
• Install, maintain and repair mechanical and electrical control wiring and lighting systems
• Install equipment & fixtures, equipment for alarm and safety and distribution components
• Read technical diagrams
• Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing components
• Coordinate tasks, allocate and delegate responsibilities to construction workers and oversee site quality
• Report project progress to superiors
• Allocate and delegate tasks to the team according to their capabilities
• DEWA rules and regulations must be known

Qualifications

• Proven experience as MEP Foreman with at least 15 years in the field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical & electrical theory and methods as well as safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid UAE driving License
