Overview

The Role

MEP Contracts / Projects Manager. An exciting opportunity to join a Leading MEP Contractor undergoing growth in the UAE. The role: analyse MEP drawings and specifications for accuracy, constructability and compliance with internal / external standards. schedule MEP installation activities for conformance to deadlines and resource availability. Track projects, manage onsite activities and adhere to all contractual stipulations. Provide support for all stages of projects, attend interviews to ascertain requirements, coordinate with different service disciplines, and manage end-to-end MEP services. Oversee procurement, planning, drawings, technical submittals, design queries resolution, progress management, site supervision, and coordination with engineering, architectural, and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyse MEP drawings and specifications for accuracy, constructability and compliance with internal and external standards.
• Schedule MEP installation activities to meet deadlines and align with resource availability.
• Track projects, manage onsite activities and ensure adherence to contractual stipulations.
• Provide support for all project stages, coordinate with different service disciplines, and manage end-to-end MEP services.
• Oversee procurement, planning, drawings, technical submittals, design query resolution, progress management, site supervision, and coordination with engineering, architectural, and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Min 15 years of MEP project delivery experience, ideally with a reputable Sub/Main contractor.
• Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate and motivate a team of site-based Project Managers and delivery teams.
• Strong background in managing multiple complex stakeholders and reporting up and down the chain.
• UAE exposure preferred; GCC experience acceptable; or candidate looking for a first move from the UK.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, cross-functional, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
