The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3-10 years of consulting experience, ideally in a top consulting firm. Responsibilities include defining procurement strategies and managing vendor relations. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred. The role requires relocation to Abu Dhabi, UAE, with immediate availability for either a temporary or permanent engagement.

• Client > Management Consulting Company Tier-1

• Ideal Candidate > The Ideal is specialized in CAPEX (Capital Expenditures) focus on optimizing the procurement process for high-value long-term investments such as machinery infrastructure construction projects and large-scale equipment. His/Her role is critical in ensuring cost efficiency supplier reliability risk mitigation and compliance with regulatory requirements

• Tasks/Responsibilities > Define procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and budgets; Assess make-or-buy decisions for capital assets; Identify opportunities for cost savings and value improvement; Conduct Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotations (RFQs; Use Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models to assess supplier bids; Develop and negotiate long-term contracts with suppliers; Manage risks related to pricing delivery timelines and supplier reliability; Implement cost reduction strategies such as bulk purchasing supplier consolidation and value engineering; Implement e-procurement tools and ERP systems (SAP Ariba Oracle Coupa); Collaborate with finance engineering and operations teams to align procurement with project goals; Evaluate vendor reliability quality and compliance.

• Requisites > Bachelor’s degree in Economics Business Administration Management Engineering Law or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred especially with focus on Procurement Supply Chain or Strategy; 3–10 years of consulting experience with a focus on procurement supply chain management or sourcing transformation projects; Proven track record in Strategic sourcing and category management and procurement process redesign and digitalization; Exposure to international procurement projects is a plus; Previous experience in a Top Consulting Firm ideally Tier-1/2; Experience in Capex needed; Advanced Excel and data analytics skills for spend analysis; Solid knowledge of contract management principles and vendor compliance requirements; Ability to work with C-level stakeholders and communicate effectively across all organizational levels; Availability to relocate in UAE for a fully professional context.
