Job Summary:

Emerson Final Control Organization offers a range of smart technology products that help control maintenance costs while enhancing the performance and lifespan of emergency shutdown/on/off or control valves. These solutions are delivered through four business verticals: Flow Controls, Pressure Management, Isolation Valves, and Actuation Technologies. In the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region, we are preparing for new challenges and are excited to announce the opening of the role of Technical Quote Coordinator under Flow Controls Lifecycle Services, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Technical Quote Coordinator will collaborate with the front-end team responsible for customer technical and quotation support for parts.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare parts quotations for Fisher valves for sales and LBP channels.
  • Provide accurate, first-time-right quotes for valve assembly spare parts.
  • Recommend spare part numbers based on unit serial numbers, bill of materials, or installation and operation manuals.
  • Assist with part number identification for non-recommended parts as required by customers for equipment overhaul and repair.
  • Support parts identification, including materials, weights, and dimensions, through system and part technical drawings.
  • Assist in sourcing alternative parts compatible with existing valve process fluids.
  • Compare new valve configurations with existing constructions and identify essential parts for changing valve trim characteristics.
  • Provide pricing and delivery information for Sempell items.
  • Calculate list prices based on global pricing guidelines.
  • Understand Fisher specifications and procedures to select appropriate suppliers.
  • Identify qualified approved suppliers and request parts production sourcing.
  • Select the best offers from various vendors to maximize gross profit while considering supplier delivery performance.
  • Activate parts in FF2 based on list prices and delivery information from vendors.
  • Handle quote requests for nuclear items.
  • Generate Spare Part Interchangeability Records based on serial and tag numbers to support installed base shutdowns and turnarounds, enhancing KOB3 growth.
  • Follow up and expedite contacts to ensure timely support.
  • Generate monthly reports on service levels and workload for management visibility.
  • Perform other functions as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
