Due to a strong pipeline of projects, our Abu Dhabi team is rapidly growing. We are seeking an experienced Landscape Architect / Hardscape and Irrigation (Infrastructure) to undertake an infrastructure project. This is a fixed-term 13-month contract, based in Madinat Zayed.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist the Resident Engineer and oversee processes related to the construction stages of the project. Duties include:
• Administrative and managerial responsibilities; technical reviews and approvals; providing advice and technical support on: softscape, hardscape, aesthetics, surface finishes, materials, schedules, and approvals.
• Ground levels, propositions, control point installation, survey contours, landforms, utility clashes, irrigation data, and water demand verification.
• Factory visits, nursery visits, FAT/SAT, material selection.
• Liaison with clients, authorities, contractors, and suppliers; raising quality reports such as SOR, NCR, and correspondence.
• Coordination for existing service adjustments, traffic assets; approval of WIRs, MAR, MIR logs, reports; snagging and de-snagging; punch lists.
• Warranties, contractor undertakings; maintenance of completed works.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years postgraduate experience, with at least 7 years on large projects.
• Regional experience preferred.
• Authority registration preferred.
• Ability to manage and coordinate a team of moderate size and complexity.
• UAE Driving License.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in infrastructure projects.
