We are looking to hire a Manager – Invoice to Pay Operations who will be responsible for overseeing supplier reconciliations, AP reporting, vendor helpdesk, and Capex invoice validation processes for our client based in Dubai—one of the largest companies in the region.
This is a permanent role within the organization.
The role sits within the Finance Department – Invoice to Pay sub-function and reports directly to the Lead – Invoice to Pay.
We are looking for a passionate professional who thrives on operational excellence, stakeholder collaboration, and process improvement across AP reconciliation, invoice validation, vendor dispute resolution, and internal control governance. You should also have a strong understanding of the end-to-end Invoice-to-Pay (I2P) cycle, including AP accounting and Capex invoice management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead AP reporting, reconciliation, and vendor helpdesk operations
- Manage Capex invoice validation and period close activities
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, including 2-way, 3-way, and 4-way matching
- Monitor supplier queries and ensure effective resolution through vendor helpdesk
- Prepare AP aging reports and review the status of open POs and vendor obligations
- Review financial postings to ensure alignment with IFRS standards
- Coordinate with procurement, contracting, and internal finance teams for vendor data accuracy
- Support budget planning for the I2P sub-function and ensure adherence to cost targets
- Execute I2P-related reconciliation activities including petty cash, accruals, and vendor statements
- Develop SOPs for exception handling and enforce adherence to protocols
- Monitor internal controls and risk frameworks, and drive compliance with anti-fraud measures
- Collaborate with internal audit and business verticals to address detected financial irregularities
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives
- Manage and mentor a team of 2–4 direct reports to deliver consistent service excellence
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business Administration (Finance); ACCA, CIMA, or ACA preferred
- 5–7 years of finance experience with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role
- Strong command of AP accounting, invoice validation, and reconciliation practices
- Knowledge of Real Estate I2P processes is a strong plus
- Experience in shared services and Middle East finance operations is preferred
- Strong vendor management, reporting, and ERP skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
