We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kindergarten (KG) Homeroom Teacher to join our Early Years Childhood program in Al Ain, UAE. This role is central to fostering a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children in KG1 and KG2. The ideal candidate will be a certified early childhood educator with a proven track record in delivering high-quality, play-based learning experiences that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. As a key member of our education team, you will collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively with parents, and contribute to a vibrant school culture rooted in inclusivity, innovation, and holistic child development. Responsibilities

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate, inquiry-based curricula aligned with early years frameworks (e.g., EYFS, IB PYP, or UAE National Curriculum).
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that supports exploration, creativity, and independence.
• Deliver structured yet flexible daily routines that balance play, learning, and social interaction for 4–6-year-olds.
• Monitor and document student progress using observational assessments and portfolio-based evaluation.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and leadership to plan interdisciplinary units and school-wide events.
• Maintain consistent and transparent communication with parents through regular updates, parent-teacher conferences, and digital platforms.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and emotional regulation.
• Participate in professional development, team meetings, and school improvement initiatives.
• Support the integration of technology and creative resources to enhance learning outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field.
• Valid teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent) with certification in early years education.
• 4–5 years of proven experience teaching in KG or Early Years settings, preferably in an international or UAE-based school environment.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and play-based learning methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with both colleagues and parents.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse classroom with cultural sensitivity and inclusivity.
• Must be a female candidate from the US, UK, South Africa, or Canada; UAE-based candidates are preferred.
