Secondary Lead Teacher - Leadership role for Y7 to Y9

Dubai – Starting August 2026

Salary and Benefits

AED 20,000 (tax free monthly salary and housing costs)

Responsibilities
  • Oversee teachers in the secondary stage level and manage curriculum, lessons and manpower planning.
  • Support the Principal, Vice Principal and Academic Supervisors in the implementation of campus policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Lead, train, guide and support teachers, overseeing their career development in conjunction with Principal, Vice Principal and Academic Supervisor.
  • Make recommendations for appropriate in‑service training.
  • Review the syllabus for the level & design the annual curriculum framework.
  • Ensure syllabus completed before stipulated date for all assessments.
  • Conduct checks and review question papers for balance, modernization and validity.
  • Follow‑up on results analysis and report to management.
  • Plan timetable and placement of teachers according to requirements.
  • Monitor timetable allotment, substitution and workload distribution of teachers.
  • Determine teaching staff strength and requirements in various levels in advance.
  • Review teaching content and lesson plans at the start of the curriculum planning process and provide inputs.
  • Approve review of textbooks conducted by Heads of Departments and teachers.
  • Conduct formal & informal observation of teachers in the classroom and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Organize class demonstrations, teaching methods, use of aides and other help to teachers in the level.
  • Monitor performance and results of students in the levels to determine if learning outcomes have been achieved, and if teaching methodologies and contents require any changes.
