About the Role

JA Resorts & Hotels is seeking a senior IT Application Manager with a strong hospitality background and a passion for service excellence. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation, support, and continuous improvement of hotel applications, with a strong focus on Oracle Opera Cloud and Simphony Cloud platforms.

You will lead the IT Application Management team, support hotel operations, and drive technology solutions that enhance both guest experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor the IT Application Management team across hotel operations
• Oversee daily application support, ensuring timely resolution and high end-user satisfaction
• Manage the full application lifecycle, including deployment, optimization, upgrades, and continuous improvement
• Drive end-to-end rollouts of Oracle Opera Cloud and Simphony Cloud, including APIs and system integrations
• Collaborate closely with hotel operations and corporate IT to align applications with business needs
• Promote a culture of service excellence, accountability, and innovation
• Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring cost-conscious operations

Candidate Profile

• Senior IT professional with proven hospitality industry experience
• Strong background in hotel IT application management
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing application support teams
• Hands-on expertise in Oracle Opera Cloud and Simphony Cloud, including at least one full end-to-end deployment of both platforms
• Experience with APIs, interfaces, and hotel payment systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in multicultural environments
• Strong focus on support excellence and continuous improvement
