Position : HSE Engineer

We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced HSE Engineer to join our team in Dubai.

Job Overview :

As an HSE Engineer , you will be responsible for ensuring that all our projects comply with local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations. You will work closely with our project managers and site teams to identify potential hazards and implement effective safety measures. Your role will also involve conducting regular site inspections, providing training to employees, and promoting a culture of safety within the company.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in line with local and international standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace.
  • Work with project managers to develop and maintain project-specific safety plans.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents and provide recommendations for prevention.
  • Provide safety training and awareness programs to employees and contractors.
  • Maintain accurate records of all safety-related activities and incidents.
  • Liaise with government agencies and other relevant bodies to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Keep up-to-date with new safety regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Nebosh & SAAS approved
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
