We are currently recruiting for a HR Generalist – Shared Services for our client to be based out of their Abu Dhabi Office.

Purpose-

The job holder is responsible for managing HR administrative processes, including employee onboarding, benefits, banking, telecom services, and offboarding. They ensure accurate records, handle queries confidentially, conduct exit interviews, and escape sensitive issues, contributing to smooth HR operations, compliance, and an enhanced employee experience.

Responsibility-
  • Processes administrative transactions in accordance with HR policies and employee code of conduct to provide efficient HR support to employees.
  • Coordinate with service provider (Etisalat / Du) to obtain, activate and issue sim cards / other equipment to new joiners / relevant stakeholders in accordance with the company policy / process and advise stakeholders such as Finance, IT for their records and further processing. Carry out this activity in efficient manner whilst ensuring customer centricity and cost effectiveness.
  • Raises queries with the respective process owners for any data updates that do not comply with policy or contain errors. Escalate unresolved matters to the HR Specialist for further action.
  • Maintains the SLA standards for the processes relating to medical insurance management, employee banking needs, sick leave certificate validation, employee benefits (such as concessional ticket), off boarding clearance, letter service and employee kiosk operations.
  • Ensure prompt and secure handling of employee queries while maintaining strict confidentiality and privacy of data.
  • Plan and conduct timely exit interviews for departing employees, ensuring all feedback is accurately captured. Escalate any sensitive issues, compliance risks, or potential reputational concerns to senior leadership for appropriate action.
  • Manage all employee banking requests, including verification of bank details and handling bank verification requests, within defined turnaround times. Ensure the authenticity of requesting institutions, maintain proper documentation, and coordinate with Payroll and Finance to prevent any payment disruptions.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records and documentation in line with company policies and legal requirements. Support audits and compliance checks by providing timely and accurate information to internal and external stakeholders.
Skills-
  • Graduate with a Certificate in Human Resources or Equivalent Qualification.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role within an on-boarding and mobilisation team, preferably in a large organisation.
  • Experience in processing on-boarding documentation and travel logistics for high volumes of new hires.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages and user competency in HR Systems
  • High standards of verbal and written communication.
  • Good planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
