The role requires outstanding communication and problem‑solving skills to effectively liaise between guests and various hotel departments. A Guest Service Agent must be adept at multitasking in a fast‑paced environment, maintain a high standard of hospitality, and ensure that each guest leaves with a positive impression of the company. Responsibilities
  • Welcome and check in guests swiftly and efficiently upon their arrival.
  • Manage room assignments and ensure guests' requests are accommodated.
  • Handle guest check‑out processes while ensuring billing accuracy and satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to phone, email, or in‑person inquiries.
  • Resolve guest complaints or issues swiftly to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Communicate guest feedback and operational issues to management as necessary.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room availability and quality.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions for recommendations.
  • Assist with reservations, changes, cancellations, and other front desk tasks.
  • Maintain a neat and organized front desk and lobby area at all times.
  • Uphold privacy and confidentiality standards for all guests and operations.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent qualification is necessary.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is highly desirable.
