Overview

We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer with a minimum of 7 years post graduate experience.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering complex geotechnical design solutions across major infrastructure projects including highways motorways rail active travel schemes and drainage works.

This is a crucial position within our Geotechnical team supporting the delivery of multidisciplinary design projects for both public and private sector clients across Ireland.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage geotechnical input on large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare and review geotechnical design calculations reports specifications and drawings.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior staff within the geotechnical team.
  • Undertake ground investigation scoping design supervision and interpretation.
  • Collaborate with civil structural and environmental engineering teams.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders clients and contractors during design and construction phases.
  • Ensure that all geotechnical design work is delivered to the highest quality and safety standards in accordance with Eurocodes and Irish/UK standards.
